We’re starting a new feature, along with MonConfessionals & anyone else who wants to link up, called “Finding Yourself Fridays). It can be about inspiration, fashion, exercise – anything that makes you find yourself. For me, it’s usually how can I make myself healthier.
I am a plus sized mama who is trying to get healthier, but this week I’m grateful for my FitBit Activity Tracker ($99).
It tracks your steps, your calories burned, how many floors you’ve walked up, even how much your sleep. It gets charged every few days (the charger is small). I find it inspires me to walk more, to get off the couch more… etc.. It’s recommended to get at least 10,000 steps a day and I find when I have FitBit on, I can easily accomplish that (and do even more). I love that you can sync it to their website and they offer an app that will also record your food.
One caveat: FitBit’s small, so make sure you secure it to your body. You can wear it attached to your bra strap (and I’ve found it still tracks if it’s in my purse).
Check out what FitBit can do!
